Aggregate Supply and Demand PX Bid Curves

The Power Exchange runs a day-ahead and hour-ahead market for energy utilizing a double-auction format.  This page contains data on the aggregated bid curves for the day-ahead market.  The data are the (horizontal) aggregation of the hourly individual bid curves into the supply side and demand side of the day-ahead market.  The intersection of the aggregate supply and demand curves determines the unconstrained market clearing price and the unconstrained market clearing quantity for each hour.  These data are released by the PX on a 3 month lag.
