THREE NEW WORKING PAPER SERIES
The Energy Policy and Economics Working
Paper Series addresses the economic, policy, and regulatory topics associated
with critical energy issues. Papers in this series come from all social
science disciplines, and examine topics such as the role of market forces
in energy industries, energy consumption behavior, and the political economy
of energy regulation.
The Energy Development and Technology
Working Paper Series stresses applied research on scientific and technical
energy problems. Research in this series examines topics such as energy
resources and supply systems, energy use and conservation, and environmental
and health effects.
The Fundamental Science of Energy Working
Paper Series emphasizes basic scientific questions underlying energy
issues. Such issues of particular importance to energy systems include, for
example, combustion, heat transfer, and properties of materials used in energy
systems.
Unpublished papers (including drafts submitted for publication) by
UC researchers are eligible for inclusion in one or more of the Working Paper
Series. UCEI's goal in establishing these Working Paper Series is
to disseminate UC energy research to a wide audience of both academic and
non-academic people and institutions, and to foster innovative energy research.
